Try opening the garage door with the remote and see what happens. Test the remote controls. If remote controls do not work replace the door control. To do this with your remote all you need to do is remove the batteries for about 30 seconds.

Test the door control panel. Check that the screw terminals on the back of the wall mounted door control are tightened enough to hold the wires in place but not over tightened. If remote controls continue to work then there was a loose connection with the wires. If your door control does not work replace the door control.

If you have a 3 button wall panel push button light lock you simply push hold the lock padlock symbol button for approx 10 seconds until the led quits flashing. If remote controls do not work then replace the wire. Now press the remote control. The wiring is loose at the opener.

Check that the wires are secure by gently tugging on them. Installing and operating the wall console for a garage door opener is fairly uncomplicated. Depending on the model most work by connecting two to four wires onto terminals mounting the device on the wall and then plugging the unit into an electrical outlet. If remote controls work reconnect the wires to door control and test.

Unplug the opener what should be for a good minute in the meantime remove the batteries from the transmitters including the key less and if you have a battery back up you would know this that if the house power was cut the garage door could still be opened there is no battery in the wall transmitter plug back in the opener and replace the batteries which should be fresh then try the wall transmitter only if that functions correctly then re program the transmitters. These steps should fix. Another reason for the sensors to misalign is that the door track is loose. Remove the wires from the back of the door control.

If the door control works replace the wires. Take proper safety precautions to ensure that you are not injured if the door operates while you perform the following tests. If you see a blinking light on one of the sensors it means they aren t aligned. Loosen one of them and adjust it until the light shines steadily.

Depending on your opener you may have screw terminals or push in connectors. To reboot the opener unplug the unit from the wall for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in. Therefore if someone pushes holds the lock button by mistake while trying to open the door this function will be turned on. If this is the case tighten the bolts with a wrench.
